Home Press Releases Lendio Franchise Opens in Denver to Expand Access to Capital for Small Businesses
Franchise owners Bill and Leanne Airy will facilitate financing opportunities for local businesses in the Denver metro area
DENVER, Colorado – Feb 3, 2020 – Lendio, the nation’s leading marketplace for small business loans, has announced the opening of a new Lendio franchise in Denver. Franchise owners Bill and Leanne Airy will help other entrepreneurs in the community apply for loans, review their options and secure funding, easing their financial hurdles.
Lendio is an online service that helps business owners find the working capital they need through its network of over 75 lenders. Funding options include SBA loans, startup loans, equipment loans, commercial real estate loans and more. In the last 12 months alone, Lendio facilitated more than $500 million in funding.
The Lendio Franchising program matches small business owners with the nation’s top online lenders in a way that has never been done before, through funding experts in their local communities. Franchisees like the Airys are small business owners themselves, and as such, understand the needs of local business owners and can guide them through the lending process.
“We’ve encountered situations where we needed capital to take our businesses to the next level, but always found it frustrating when we would go to local banks just to be turned down for the loan or line of credit we were looking for,” said Bill Airy, co-owner of Lendio Denver. “Had I known of a marketplace like Lendio, I would have started there. There are just so many options that my local bank alone didn’t have access to.”
Through strategic partnerships with local banks and SBA lenders, along with Lendio’s national network, the Airys will expand access to funding options for small business owners in all of the area’s growing industries—from equipment loans for restaurants to lines of credit for dispensaries. In addition to being backed by the largest business loan marketplace in the country, the Denver area franchise will benefit from Lendio’s strong, marketing campaigns and extensive hands-on training.
“Our angle is a very focused one,” added Leanne Airy, co-owner of Lendio Denver. “We’re very much a marketplace advisor—our specialty is packaging each application in just the right way, aligning individual businesses with the right lenders and loans and then going to bat for them.”
“We’re very excited to share our knowledge, based on our experience in owning, operating and growing our own businesses with Denver locals looking to do the same thing,” continued Bill. “We hope to make business lending a more personal relationship, and give each and every application for a small business loan the broadest reach possible, to ensure each owner gets the absolute best financing for their business.”
The Airys, who are Denver locals themselves, have built four successful businesses as a husband and wife team. Bill has lived in Denver since he was nine years old, and Leanne for sixteen years—ever since moving from South Africa and marrying Bill. The two are heavily involved in local organizations with a focus on children and schools.
“Denver is a booming city and has been for years, but business owners in many sectors still struggle to find access to additional capital. This is a perfect example of why we created Lendio Franchising,” said Mark Cottle, Executive Vice President of Franchising at Lendio. “Through the Airys’ established relationships in the community, business experience and their understanding of local economic challenges and opportunities, they will be able to connect local business owners with loan options they didn’t even know existed.”
